Executive Media Trainer

Rob is an experienced media trainer, senior journalist, academic and communications specialist.

He has extensive experience in leadership roles in broadcasting, multi-media journalism and news management.

His strengths include media liaison, crisis management, leading and managing change, problem solving, communications strategies and engagement with stakeholders at the highest level.

Rob has strong professional relationships with news leaders and journalists across radio, print, digital and television news and current affairs.

He has operated in high-pressure environments and worked to tight deadlines as a member of executive teams.

Rob is on the Board of the Melbourne Press Club, Chair of RMIT University Program Advisory Committee for Journalism, and a member of Monash University Industry Advisory Committee.

Rob lectures in multimedia journalism and media law at Deakin University, and radio news at Monash University. He is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.  Rob is also on the board of Kevin Heinze GROW – a not-for-profit provider of horticultural-based therapy in the disability sector.
