Luke Waters is an accomplished media trainer and passionate journalist.

Luke’s extensive skills, knowledge and experience have been gathered from specialist media roles with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), Network Ten, WIN and Prime News in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Albury, Taree, Rockhampton and Tamworth, Australia. He has also reported from overseas locations.

Luke is a versatile and informed reporter who has filed reports on the topics of politics, Defence, international affairs and general news for newspapers, radio and television programs.

An excellent public speaker, Luke has hosted a variety of charity engagements and public functions.  With his extensive media background across many sectors, Luke has provided confidential, pragmatic and creative consulting advice to numerous companies.

Luke has reported on sporting issues at both grass roots and elite levels. This includes reports on topical and controversial issues associated with drugs and alcohol, disability and social inclusion, in and around sport.

Luke has been formally recognised for his journalistic ability, winning Cricket Victoria’s overall award for Best Journalism Item. In 2011 he won the Australian Sports Commission National Media Award.
